St Paul’s is a Spirit-empowered, intergenerational and multicultural church located in Caulfield North who love to lift the name of Jesus high! We have a long history of God working powerfully to save, heal, free, equip, empower and encourage people through us. We hope we can encourage you.
Our Mission
Our mission is not unique. It is the same mission the church has always had (Matthew 28:19). How we express our expression is unique. It reflects Jesus’ calling on us as a particular people gathered with particular gifts for a particular purpose as part of the Great Commission. So, as St Paul’s Caulfield North our mission is:
Helping people to find hope,
wholeness and purpose in Jesus
Our Values
Values are the why that drive us. Four values that are currently driving us towards Jesus’ mission are:
- Discipleship – Every person of every age has a place to belong and a purpose to serve. We will love, train and care for our people so well that people will experience Jesus through us.
- Evangelism – We want to reach the lost, the broken and faithless to restore them to the Father’s heart.
- Enablement – We want nothing to get in the way of our mission. So, we will steward our resources and improve our processes to enable and serve our mission
- Prayer – As children of a Good Father we pray for his will on earth as it is in heaven.
These are not the only things we value, but they are things we are currently prioritising to support Jesus’ mission through us. There is an acronym for this… as a church we are going… DEEP!
Our Vision
What will we look like if we live our mission & values well? More people more actively participating in the mission of Jesus both inside and outside the church. We will see new and renewed commitments to follow Jesus, lives changed, people sharing more of life together and a reinvigorated connection with our local mission field.

Our Vicar is Reverend Randle Bond.

Our Beliefs
As a church we uphold the central truths of the Christian faith and seek to live the truth of the Bible faithfully as we follow Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the one true and living God who eternally exists in three persons in unity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe in God as a loving creator who created humanity in his image, both male and female.
- We believe in the fallen nature of humanity and the common need for salvation from sin.
- We believe the only way to be forgiven, saved, adopted into the family of God and welcomed into eternal life is through faith in Jesus.
- We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus, his sinless life, sacrificial death, glorious bodily resurrection, heavenly ascension and present reign.
- We believe that Jesus will return in glory to judge the world and bring in the new heavens and new earth.
- We believe that the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today and seek to exercise all of them by faith.
- We believe in the necessary work of the Holy Spirit to grow mature Christians.
- We believe in and value the ministry of the whole church, with a priority for godliness over gifting.
- We believe the church is a group of people and not a building, called by God to serve the mission of Jesus in the world.
- We believe in the Divine inspiration and authority of Holy Scriptures for all matters of faith and godliness.
- We believe in the need for integrity, mutual accountability, love and humility in living out these beliefs.
